Hi, it's been a while. I like to come back to things after a long time and fit right back into it, finding all those things you liked about it in the first place still there. Finding the purpose again. When I get out of the habit of having daily time with God, and get back into it, it is always hard, but sweet. When it's a relationship that has gotten lost, it takes time to find the rhythm again, but it's so worth finding. I'm so glad God excepts us back when we turn away, sometimes just for a few days. We get busy, we drop those quiet devotionals from our schedules because they seem dropable, probably a lack of accountability. But I see the change in me when I do them. I can't help but feel guilty when I don't, which is sort of silly. God doesn't ask us to do anything but love Him, right? It is easy to get caught up in feeling like we need to DO something to be saved and keep our salvation. I know this to not be true. If anyone knows a verse in response to these thoughts, please post it.

Our salvation rest on our believing in Jesus and our repentance for our sins which is a constant obedience and love for God. I'll get back to you on verses but I just wanted to say that. :) Oh, and you should go through step studies - it's life changing!
